Choose the mailboxes you need
Start with a real team and a manageable slice of mail.
Approved companies receive an activation code. Each person signs in with Microsoft and explicitly chooses their own work mailbox, an authorized shared mailbox, or both within the plan allowance before connecting. The first sync starts with recent mail, not years of history.

Trust boundary
Outlook stays the source of truth.
Smart Inbox mirrors the text and metadata needed for the workspace. Attachment files stay in Microsoft 365 and are fetched only when an authorized mailbox member opens them.
